DAF and Tatra will continue to cooperate

Representatives of Tatra Trucks as and DAF Trucks NV signed a new contract in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, for the supply of engines that will meet the Euro 6 emission standard, and cabins for Tatra 4×4, 6×6 and 8×8 vehicles.

The new contract also includes the continuation of the supply of Euro 3, 4 and 5 engines for the Tatras, but for the markets in the European Union (primarily customers in the field of construction, forestry, mining, agriculture or municipal services) the most important are the new Euro 6 engines : "For the markets in the EU we are finalizing the development of the Phoenix Euro 6 model," pointed out Petr Rusek , Chairman of the Board of Directors and Sales Director of Tatra Trucks a.s. Euro 6 standard, which excels in reliability and economy. In addition to the 12.9-liter Paccar MX-13 engine, we also plan to use the new 10.8-liter Paccar MX-11 engine for the cars of the popular Phoenix model series," added Rusek.
