Dacia presented the new generation Logan MCV

Initial predictions suggested that Dacia would bring the new Logan MCV to Geneva , as well as the facelifted Duster . The prediction was only partially fulfilled, so while we can already enjoy the shapes of the new Logan MCV , we still have to wait for the updated Duster.

The new generation MCV follows on from its predecessor, which paid for the cheapest and largest new car on the market. Apart from the name, the two cars share practically nothing. The new MCV offers a sportier and more modern design , which is given already by the appearance of the starting sedan. The new rear will offer simple shapes with big lights and a big car name.

Even the interior is not the same as its predecessor, and I'm not talking about design or quality. While the previous Logan MCV offered space for seven passengers, the new generation will accommodate a maximum of five . However, the 4.49-meter-long station wagon , in addition to the five passengers, also carries 573 liters of cargo (even 1518 liters after the rear seats are folded down), and that doesn't sound so bad anymore.

The drive will be powered by the same engines as in the base sedan. The basis is therefore a 1.2 petrol unit with a power of 75 hp , which is followed by a turbocharged three-cylinder 0.9 TCe with a power of 90 hp . The diesel units are represented by a pair of 1.5 dCi engines with a power of 75 and 90 hp , respectively.

At the Dacia stand, the new Logan MCV is accompanied by a special Duster Aventure edition . It will offer several elements, thanks to which you will not get lost even on the way around Europe. These are primarily rubber aprons, all-terrain wheels, roof rails and an additional light ramp. The interior offers more durable upholstery and, above all , GPS with preset maps of 45 European countries . Both 4×2 and 4×4 drives are available.
