Citroën is preparing an all-terrain C1 for the Paris Motor Show

Superminis with plastic-protected bodywork , increased ground clearance and usually a certain amount of style have been quite popular lately. After the Opel Adam Rocks , which premiered this year in Geneva, or the Volkswagen Cross Up! , which premiered there last year, comes the Citroën C1 Urban Ride .

For now, the name of the Cologne-based car in yellow paint Chessecake with a silver roof is supplemented by the magic word concept, but if the reactions of visitors to the Paris Motor Show are positive enough, the French manufacturer will put the car into production. In addition to the very effective color, the C1 received plastic protection for the bumpers, mudguards and thresholds. The off-road impression is further supported by silver-painted plastics in both bumpers.

Like the competing Adam Rocks, the C1 Urban Ride received a canvas retractable roof , normally reserved for the Airscape trim level. In addition to the spectacular changes, Citroën also applied functional changes – for example, the ground clearance is 15 mm better than that of the production model, the wheel track would be widened by 10 mm, and the alloy wheels received tires with a profile number of 175/65 . The plastic lining of the doors, center panel and ventilation vents match the color of the body, and the equipment includes a touch screen of the multimedia system.
