Citroen DS3 Cabrio will be shown in Paris

French automaker Citroën has decided to reveal its new Cabrio body variant of the stylish DS3 ahead of next month's Paris Motor Show. After all, there is nothing to be surprised about. It would be an eternal shame to keep such a handsome man under cover.

The automaker itself talks about its new stylish addition as the only model in its class that can carry up to five people and offers 245 liters of luggage space. The vehicle is 3.95 meters long, 1.71 meters wide and 1.46 meters high. In terms of design, it is fully based on the version with a fixed roof. The only change is the canvas roof, which retracts in just 16 seconds and for which the body was reinforced, which increased the weight by 25 kilograms. But let's go back to the roof itself. Its withdrawal is possible up to a speed of 120 kilometers per hour, which is due to its construction, where the sides are still firmly built into the upper part of the car. Personally, I imagine a cabriolet a little differently. On the other hand, rear seat passengers will not suffer in any way when driving with the roof up.

The Citroën DS3 Cabrio will go into production early next year in France for an as yet undisclosed price.
