Citroën DS3 Cabrio Racing was shown at Goodwood

At this year's Festival of Speed in Goodwood, in addition to the new Skoda Octavia RS or Peugeot RCZ R , the small sharp French convertible Citroën DS3 Cabrio Racing was presented. According to the manufacturer's official information, this is only a concept for the time being, which may eventually go into serial production.

The small convertible features Moondark matte black body paint. You can see the dark chrome door handles, trunk lid trim or exterior mirror covers. The DS3 also got decent black 19" wheels, red painted brake calipers and a roof fabric with a carbon fiber pattern.

Compared to the closed version, the DS3 Cabrio Racing gained only 25 kg in weight, so it can boast a final weight of 1190 kg. At first glance, the interior of the car is luxurious, which is underlined by sports seats, Nappa leather upholstery or carbon details. After all, we can find all this in hothatch DS3 Racing .

Under the front hood, the Citroën DS3 Cabrio Racing Concept has a 1.6-liter turbocharged THP four-cylinder engine that produces a respectable 205 horsepower. Unfortunately, the automaker has not published any other technical information about the car, but the acceleration from 0-100 km/h will probably take place in 6.5 seconds thanks to the identity with the DS3 Racing version, while the maximum speed of the car could settle at 235 km/h.
