The Citroën C1 recently underwent a facelift along with its two Cologne siblings. With small cars for the city, not only low price, space for the crew and fuel consumption are important, but also style and individuality. However, if you are mainly interested in the last two named elements, reach for the limited edition Connexion . This one is available in the UK and looks damn good!
Citroën owes much of its success to Facebook users. The color matching of Caldera paint and Scarlet Red painted details is used on the VTR trim level. Special 14" alloy wheels and tinted glass are pleasing.
We don't know much about the interior, but we can count on its matching with the exterior. So let's expect a dark version of the center console, red stitching on the seats and red tuning of the vents, speedometer and separate tachometer alarm clock.
Under the hood is a one-liter three-cylinder gasoline engine with an output of 50 kW and a maximum torque of 93 Nm. The atmospheric unit has a pleasant rattling sound in all the trios from Cologne (the same engine is also used in the currently tested Peugeot 107 ) and can accelerate the car to 100 kilometers in 12.3 seconds. The maximum speed of 158 km/h is not so important for such small models.
Prices for the limited edition Citroën C1 Connexion start at £9,495. According to the English price list, it is exactly 500 pounds more than what you would pay for the "regular" version of the VTR . However, the manufacturer also states that the edition has special equipment worth 925 pounds. Well don't buy it when it's so cheap!
