Chinese car culture has released another newcomer

Another one will soon join the tangled network of Chinese automakers , this time focused on the production of MPVs for young people. Huasong , as the new car company will be called, is a subsidiary of Brilliance car company, which has a partnership with BMW for a change. However, how does the German automaker fit in there? Let yourself be surprised!

The Huasong 7 is a 5005 mm long, 1909 mm wide and 1935 mm high model that can accommodate up to seven passengers in three rows with a wheelbase of 2990 mm . In the second row, you sit in separate armchairs , but the third row is made up of a three-seater bench. A pair of side sliding doors ensures comfortable access to both rows. The driver's workplace looks quite luxurious thanks to the light upholstery and plastics, chrome decorations or the multimedia system , but the question of quality still hangs in the air.

The mentioned partnership with BMW will be manifested above all under the hood, where we can find a two-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine with a turbocharged output of 184 hp and a torque of 280 Nm or 218 hp and a torque of 315 Nm, which comes directly from the German automaker. However, you will also find the "Supported by BMW Group Technology" label on the engine cover. Whether you choose one or the other version, you always get a six-speed automatic and front-wheel drive. However, the platform comes from purely own sources, specifically from the car manufacturer Jinbei, which also falls under Brilliance.

The appearance of the body is mainly determined by the front part with a chrome radiator grille and main headlights, which have LED diodes for daytime running lights and bi-xenon lamps. The profile of the car is mainly characterized by a chrome line stretching along the windows. Chrome was also spared in the rear part, where it optically connects the group lights and the handle of the fifth door is also made of it.
