Chevrolet would like to take the success of the GT86/BRZ

The Japanese automaker Toyota has decided to build a car for the driver. After two years of development of the platform, a coupe with the designation GT86 was built on it . And to make matters worse, the Subaru BRZ and the American Scion FR-S have the same technology . Whether you're partial to just one model, one thing's for sure – those cars are a success , and now it's starting to bother General Motors, more precisely Chevrolet .

General Motors ' North American president, Mark Reuss, stated, "We want competition for Japan's Toyobara". Chevrolet is currently considering strategy and positioning in the portfolio, perhaps it could be a "cheaper Camaro" . Reuss concluded: "The new coupe could boast the Alpha rear-wheel drive that was developed for the Cadillac ATS ".

The Chevrolet 130R concept, which was presented last year at the Detroit Auto Show, may become the basis for the announced swimming pool. It's not exactly the prettiest concept study, but Mark Reuss likes it and is looking for a way to use it. For the time being, Chevrolet is conducting customer surveys, and over time it will be seen whether the mentioned coupe will even get the "green light" for production.
