Chevrolet unveiled the sedan version of the Sail.

The Chevrolet Sail , the overseas as well as Asian version of the Aveo, now arrives in a second body style. The automaker itself refers to it as "a new definition of style" . In fact, it is not a coupe, as the slogan might suggest, but a sedan .

The front end is shared by the sedan with the default hatchback. Bigger changes occur in about half of the body , where the line of the roof changes and it gradually transitions into a stepped rear part. It should be noted that this is one of the nicest sedans of recent times . Just think of the Honda Brio Amaze

Chevrolet hasn't shown the interior yet, but it promises a cabin inspired by the legendary Corvette with a horizontal center panel and most likely instruments in separate tubes, as we've seen in Chevrolets lately.

A pair of engines will appear under the hood – a 1.2 four-cylinder gasoline engine will be complemented by a 1.3 four-cylinder diesel engine . Technical data for both have not yet been published, but Indian sources expect an output of 86 horses for the petrol version or 78 hp for the diesel version.

The Sail Sedan will go on sale within a few weeks for an as yet unspecified price. In addition to the Bria Amaze , its main competitor will also be the Indian version of the Skoda Rapid .
