Chevrolet introduced a luxury version of the Silverado pickup truck

Last year , together with GMC, Chevrolet presented a new generation of large pickups, the Silverado and the Sierra , respectively. Chevrolet is now adding another, more luxurious one to the two already existing trim levels.

The High Country version will thus complement the existing LTZ and Z71 grades, which will then be topped off with better equipment and a more luxurious-looking exterior , as well as the offer of the only Crew Cab body. New is a large chrome mask, side sills made of the same material, halogen projector lights, bumpers in body color and twenty-inch wheels.

The interior was upholstered in luxurious brown leather, heated and air-conditioned seats with the High Country monogram on the headrests, the Chevrolet MyLink system with an eight-inch screen, Bose premium audio or a rear parking camera.

One of two engines will appear under the hood. The role of a more "economical" unit is played by the eight-cylinder 5.3 EcoTec3 with a capacity of 360 hp. The eight-cylinder 6.2 EcoTec3 is offered as a second option. Both units have direct injection or half cylinder deactivation.

Like the list of changes, the list of additional equipment is very long. You can pay extra for a chrome rear bumper with CornerStep system, integrated trailer brake, sunroof, navigation and rear seat entertainment system. The highlight is the High Country Premium package, which has a heated steering wheel or adjustable pedals.

Chevrolet has not yet set a price tag for this luxury pickup truck.
