Chinese media reports that the new Chang'an Eado XT looks extremely good. Looking mainly at the rear, the question that comes to mind is why didn't they build a Citroën DS4 next to it?
The French car company would probably wonder where its ideas came from… Nevertheless, one can agree with the Chinese media. Eado XT looks quite good by local standards. The same can be said about the interior, although even here you will find hints of several European cars. How much, I'll leave that up to you. We counted at least two.
Two engines will be available under the hood of the new product. The weaker 1.6-liter atmospheric four-cylinder engine has a power of 126 horsepower and works with a five-speed manual or a four-speed automatic. The more powerful turbocharged one-five has an output of 152 horsepower and cooperates with a six-speed manual.
Sales of the model are already starting in China and the price starts below the amount of 70,000 yuan (approx. 223,000 CZK). This is a competitive price even considering the claim that the Eado XT is to be a powerful weapon in Chang'an's expansion into the European market .
