Cascada OPC may become a reality, depends on sales

At this year's Geneva exhibition, the newOpel Cascada was revealed , which also became the new flagship of the German brand. Many fans of the car manufacturer began to talk about whether a more powerful variant with the designation OPC would eventually arrive . The well-known graphic designer Theo responded to this idea and created an illustration of the Cascade OPC .

On the attached rendering in the gallery, we can notice that the more powerful version would differ from the classic one in particular with a more aggressive body kit and larger alloy wheels. Of course, a different front mask, wider side sill extensions, fewer chrome accessories and narrower exterior mirrors would be a given.

The Rüsselsheim automaker introduced the four-seat Cascada convertible as a more affordable alternative to the Audi A5 Cabriolet . However, we must not forget that the Ingolstadt brand also has a sharper S5 Cabriolet model. And it is this model that the new Cascada OPC would like to compete with. And how did the representatives of the Opel brand themselves comment on this event? Everything is said to depend on the success of the classic Cascada. So if all goes according to plan, a powerful version of OPC will become a reality.
