Brutal reconstruction of the Skoda Octavia RS

The second generation Skoda Octavia RS is a great and fast family car, but the standard 200 hp (170 hp in the diesel version) is sometimes just not enough. If you have a similar mindset, there are basically two options left – professional modification from a reputable company or long evenings in the garage with a screwdriver, hammer and other tools…

Ghita Silviu from Romania, who is behind the Octavia RS Bimoto , also took the other route. At first glance, the name does not evoke anything so fundamentally different, upon closer inspection you may already be struck by different wheels , a slightly widened body or different bumpers.

But if even that is not enough, you have to grind under the hood and in the trunk. In fact, a heavily modified unit with an output of about 460 hp works in front, which is seconded by a rear engine with an output of about 330 hp . The Octavia RS thus became a twin-engine beast .

In addition, the engines work independently of each other and each has its own intake or clutch, thanks to which both axles are driven, and the Octavia RS Bimoto is not only twin-engine, but also all-wheel drive. Then it is no wonder that you will reach 100 km/h in about 2.6 seconds !
