As for mechanical changes, customers will be able to order a differential with 30% compatibility . The performance of the three power units was increased by modifying the engine software and a new exhaust system. The weakest 420d improved by 16 hp and 39 Nm to the resulting 195 hp and 418 Nm . The more powerful 428i jumped by 27 hp and 39 Nm to 269 hp and 389 Nm . The flagship 435i got 34 hp and 50 Nm, so it now boasts 336 hp and 450 Nm. According to the automaker, the increase in engine performance should not affect consumption and CO2 emissions .
