BAC Mono – The best for track day!

We will probably not meet this vehicle as often on the roads as on one of the English circuits, on the occasion of track days there. It is the responsibility of the Briggs Automotive Company, it is called Mono and it will be the main competitor of the already known KTM X-Bow.

The Mono was primarily designed as a weekend toy for frolicking on the circuit, but nothing will stop you from actually bringing it back home afterwards. It has all the authorizations to operate on roads.

In order to reduce the weight as much as possible, the model received a carbon body, under which a tubular frame with FIA homologation is hidden. For versatile use, owners will appreciate adjustable suspension, Sachs Racing shocks, AP Racing brakes and 17" alloy wheels shod with custom Kumho tires.

The drive unit here is represented by a four-cylinder Cosworth with a capacity of 2.3 liters and a maximum power of 209 kW. Spectra 280 Nm of torque will be able to be used through a six-speed sequential gearbox, with which the 540 kg projectile will reach a speed of 100 km/h in an incredible 2.8 seconds and will continue up to a maximum speed of 274 km/h.

Production will reportedly be limited to just 35 units, with the Mono available in Britain from ₤66,625. How much are customers willing to pay for exclusivity?
