Some time ago, the first mentions surfaced that the Chevrolet Aveo could be sold in addition to the hatchback and sedan in a sharper version of the RS. On the American continent, it is almost certain that we will see the mentioned version of the RS, but with the designation Sonic .
Now, however, a Russian website has brought a photo showing the Aveo RS , according to the designation, in the place where we usually find the registration plate. In the attached image, we can notice that the Aveo RS is no different from the "American" Sonic RS. The more powerful model will differ from the classic one with an aggressive body kit, 17" alloy wheels with five spokes, and in America it will be possible to "dress" it in one of the following shades – red Victory, white Summit, gray metallic Cyber and black metallic Black. The European Aveo RS will definitely be available in orange paint for now.
In the interior, we find a leather steering wheel and gear lever head with red stitching, aluminum pedals, sports leather front seats and other things. Under the hood of the sharp Aveo RS, there will be a 1.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder Ecotec with a power of 140 hp and a torque of 200 Nm. Power will be transmitted to the front wheels through a six-speed manual or automatic transmission.
