Australian Holden has prepared a constellation of special models from HSV

HSV , or Holden Special Vehicles , is the Australian equivalent of Mercedes' AMG series or BMW's M. For the new model year, this division has prepared a completely new range of models , which it designates as GEN-F , and which has its basis in the modernized models of the Holden brand.

Most of the GEN-F series models are based on the saloon, estate and pickup (Ute in Australia) versions of the Commodore VF . Only one model of the entire range is based on the Caprice limousine . HSV promises that the new features will offer "the most visible exterior changes since the E-series models".

The flagship of the GEN-F series is the GTS sedan . It has a 6.2-liter turbocharged eight-cylinder under the hood, with a power of 585 hp at 5900 rpm and a torque of 740 Nm at 4200 rpm.

Below the GTS model sit the Clubsport R8, Tourer R8 and Maloo R8 models, which have a 6.2 V8 under the hood, tuned for 442 hp at 6000 rpm and 550 Nm at 4600 rpm.

The lower level is then the sedan and station wagon Clubsport and the pickup, referred to as the Maloo Ute . All three models have a 6.2 V8 under the hood tuned to 431 hp at 6000 rpm and 550 Nm at 4600 rpm.

If you don't opt for a model based on the Commodore model, you have to go for the Grange sedan , which is based on the Caprice sedan. It has a 6.2 V8 under the hood with an output of 462 hp at 6000 rpm and a torque of 570 Nm at 4600 rpm.
