The Audi TT-RS Plus is headed to the UK

The British representative of the German premium car manufacturer Audi has confirmed the arrival of a new version of the popular TT coupe/roadster on the local market at the beginning of May. Specifically, it is a TT-RS model with the nickname Plus , which is characterized above all by the increased power of the drive unit and an attractive body kit. But let's get it in order.

So what does the customer get for the basic price of 52,265 pounds (converted to almost 1.6 million crowns)? First of all, a really wonderful looking stylish coupe, which differs from the regular RS version by a modified front bumper, a new sports exhaust system with dark tailpipes, carbon exterior mirrors and, last but not least, original 19-inch alloy wheels in a two-tone version.

Under the hood is a turbocharged five-cylinder TFSI with a displacement of 2.5 liters with direct fuel injection, which has been newly tuned to produce 265 kW (360 hp) and 465 Nm of torque, which means an increase in power of 20 hp and 15 Nm of torque. The new feature is the S-Tronic dual-clutch gearbox, thanks to which the TT-čk accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in a very respectable 4.1 seconds, while the maximum speed jumped up to 280 km/h. And what does consumption say about this portion of performance? The official figure speaks of a combined consumption of 8.5 liters per 100 kilometers. However, it must be added that in a completely different driving mode than the one for which this TT was created.
