SUV and diesel – not exactly an ideal combination for a sports car. The serial Audi SQ5 TDI still manages to be quite an interesting car. Nevertheless, the B&B Automobiltechnik modifier found a number of areas for improvement.
Of course, everyone will first notice the design changes at first glance, which are noticeable in the B&B Automobiltechnik design, yet very decent and tasteful. The front bumper, sills and rear bumper were redesigned. The wheelbase has been significantly extended.
Modifications continue to the chassis, which received new sports shock absorbers reducing the ground clearance of the car by approximately 30 millimeters. The installed alloy wheels measure a giant 22 inches and are shod with low-profile tires from Michelin .
Under the hood of the car hides a diesel twin-turbo V6 with a volume of 3.0 TDI , the performance of which was increased by B&B in three steps. The first 1K Comfort produces 340 hp and 720Nm , the second 1K Sport will offer 365 hp and 750Nm , while the Level 2 stands at the very top with a power of 400 hp and a torque of 800Nm . With the most powerful version of the modified Audi engine, it can sprint from rest to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds and the maximum speed is 275 km/h . A new sports exhaust system is a matter of course for all engine power levels.
