Audi presents the SQ5 TDI plus

Audi SQ5 is known to the world in two forms – in European countries, there is a three-liter TDI with a capacity of 313 hp under the hood, in selected countries outside Europe they have a gasoline three-liter six-cylinder TFSI with a capacity of 354 hp. New, exclusively for the diesel version, is the plus specification, bringing an extra 27 horsepower and several exterior modifications to go along with it.

The three-liter six-cylinder diesel engine now produces 340 hp and 700 Nm , while the eight-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission transmits this power to all wheels, assisted by a rear differential for the first time in the history of the SUV Q5, which distributes power evenly between the wheels. Despite the higher power, the time needed to reach a hundred kilometers (5.1 seconds) has not changed, and the maximum speed is still electronically limited to 250 km/h. Interestingly, fuel consumption has dropped slightly to 6.6 l/100 km, which equates to 174 g CO2/km.

Visually, the SQ5 TDI plus is distinguished from the "standard" model by 21-inch wheels with 255/40 tires, elements in gloss black paint (door handles, mirrors, diffuser, rear spoiler) and four exhaust tips that have built-in clamps in the center. The cabin is completely upholstered in classic leather or finer Nappa leather , diamond stitching is provided by silver thread.

Another novelty is the optional Audi exclusive selection macaw blue package, the most striking element of which is the Macaw blue paint. The cabin stitching also has the same color, the dashboard is decorated with unique aluminum decors. The entire package will cost 12,000 euros (approx. 324,000 crowns) and is limited to a hundred pieces. Audi SQ5 TDI plus starts in Germany at 67,700 euros (approx. 1,830,000 crowns).
