Audi RS Q3 will be presented in Beijing!

The Auto Show in Beijing will open its doors next Monday, and an unstoppable stream of world news awaits us. One of them keeps the exhibition area of the Audi car company from sleeping . This is where the amazing looking RS Q3 crossover concept will be presented .

The Audi RS Q3 concept is powered by a 2.5-liter five-cylinder TFSI engine, which is connected to a seven-speed S-Tronic dual-clutch transmission. The modern unit, which we know for example from the RS3 or TT RS models, boasts direct fuel injection and, of course, a turbocharger. That's the only way it can reach 265 kW, swing the chubby crossover from rest to 100 km/h in 5.2 seconds and accelerate it to a maximum speed of 265 km/h!

Torque is transmitted to all four wheels via the Quattro system. However, the Audi Q3 does not have a permanent drive. Following the example of the Volkswagen Tiguan and Skoda Yeti , the rear axle is connected through a Haldex inter-axle coupling, which is capable of sending up to 90% of the power to the rear axle if necessary.

The exterior design with new bumpers has become sharper, and the car's ground clearance has been lowered accordingly. At the front we find huge spaces for fresh air intake and tubular LED lights , at the back a functional diffuser with integrated exhaust tips. I find the 20" alloy wheels with 255/30 tires very attractive.

The interior perfectly matches the exterior concept of the car. The driver has at his disposal a three-spoke steering wheel with a flat lower part that fits perfectly in his hands, and sports seats with more pronounced lateral guidance are not to be thrown away. Leather has also found its place on the instrument panel and the central tunnel, and the frequently used aluminum and carbon must not be missing.
