Audi introduced the gasoline version of the SUV SQ5, it will not reach Europe

Already in the summer of last year, Audi revealed the most powerful version of the SUV Q5 , which received the traditional letter S. The catch was that there was only a diesel engine under the hood. Now the petrol SQ5 is also coming, but the European won't get it

The SQ5 with a gasoline engine will be exclusively available in the following countries only: USA, Canada, Chile, South Africa, China, Russia, South Korea, Singapore, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina and Ukraine. And what do customers get here?

Above all , the design is almost identical to the diesel version . The front mask, mirror covers, sill extensions and rear diffuser are new. In addition, the SQ5 also has two exclusive colors – Estoril Blue and Panther Black and 20-inch wheels. The interior got a sportier steering wheel, leather seats and aluminum decor.

However, the main novelty is hidden under the hood! Here, the turbocharged six-cylinder 3.0 TFSI with an output of 354 hp and a maximum torque of 470 Nm in the range of 4000 – 4500 rpm beats. The sprint to 100 km/h takes place in 5.3 seconds and the top speed is electronically limited to 250 km/h. The consumption of the car is not tragic at all – 8.5 l/100 km in the combined cycle is not the worst, as are the emissions of 199 g of CO2 per kilometer traveled.

In addition to the six-cylinder engine, the SQ5 will also offer an 8-speed automatic transmission in conjunction with a sporty chassis lowered by 30 mm and permanent Quattro all-wheel drive .
