Peugeot 208 GTi , Renault Clio RS, Ford Fiesta ST or perhaps the new Mini JCW. All of them will get a very strong competitor next year in the form of the new generation sporty Corsa OPC .
It is currently in development and will not be presented until next year , i.e. at least half a year after the normal Corsa , whose premiere is scheduled for next Wednesday. Under the hood of the small hot hatch, we find a turbocharged six- cylinder that also powers the Cascada convertible, where it produces 200 horsepower.
The current Corsa OPC has 192 hp, so it is clear that the performance will go up slightly. So the same 200bhp as in the Cascada can be expected, beating the 182bhp Fiesta ST and matching the Clio RS and 208GTi respectively, but not beating the upcoming Mini JCW.
Following the example of the outgoing generation, which is also available in the Nürburgring version with 210 horsepower, we can expect slightly more power.
