Alfa Romeo will once again delay its return to the American market

We recently wrote about the Alfa Romeo 4C going on sale in the European market as early as next month , but according to the latest information, there is a problem in returning to the American market . Originally, the sporty 4C was supposed to go on sale in the US later this year, but that event has unfortunately been pushed back by a few months .

In a press statement, Chrysler brand spokesman Rick Deneau said that sales of the 4C sports model in the US market will not begin until the second quarter of 2014 , which is several months later than the promised date. Unfortunately, we did not learn the real reason for the postponement, but it is already one big farce. When we finally get the complete data and the European premiere, there is another problem on the other side of the globe.

According to the foreign newspaper AutoGuide , the Alfa Romeo 4C will be sold on the American market starting at $ 54,000 (about 1,035,000 crowns), which means that it is more expensive than the Porsche Cayman , but significantly cheaper than the Lotus Evora. Even the American version will have a turbocharged four-cylinder 1.75 TBi with an output of 240 horsepower and a torque of 350 Nm. Acceleration to 100 km/h takes place in 4.5 seconds and the maximum speed is 258 km/h.
