Alfa Romeo MiTo Live is primarily intended for young people

After a long hiatus , the Italian car manufacturer Alfa Romeo presented the 4C sports model , and everyone thought that the brand was coming to its senses and more completely new models would be added. But a mistake! Once again, we only got a new special edition for the MiTo model, which will be sold only on the British market .

And how does the aforementioned Live edition differ from the classic concept? First of all, the Pioneer AppRadio system, which allows users to connect to "smart" phone applications using a seven-inch touch screen. In particular, you can use the new system to manage photos, videos, music, the Internet or, for example, Google Maps on the go. The MiTo Live also has a specially developed Bose audio system, which includes nine speakers and a subwoofer.

However, Alfa Romeo has not yet announced whether the AppRadio system can be switched to a safety mode to prevent use while driving, or a volume limit for the radio like Ford's MyKey has, which pre-emptively warns the driver that there may be distractions while driving. Under the hood of the special Alfa Romeo MiTo Live , we find a turbocharged two-cylinder 0.9 TwinAir with an output of 86 hp. Combined fuel consumption will be around 4 l/100 km and CO2 emissions are 98 g/km.

All Alfa Romeo MiTo Live will offer a red body shade, gloss black roof, exterior mirrors and door handles. The highlight of the appearance modifications is a set of 17-inch alloy wheels. Alfa Romeo wants to offer this model mainly to young people aged 18-25. Only 250 units will be produced in total, and prices in England will start at 16,590 pounds (about 505,000 crowns).
