The Italian car manufacturer Alfa Romeo is apparently starting to wake up from its " winter sleep ". Alfa Romeo has long been known to have a larger model in the works, likely to carry the CXover designation, but it has yet to be officially confirmed. In the images from spy photographers, we see a prototype of the "heightened" Giulietta , which is being tested on the roads of southern Europe . The carmaker must really care about this model, because the competition is great. Let's name for example – Ford Kuga , Volkswagen Tiguan , Renault Koleos , BMW X3 , Mercedes-Benz GLK or the upcoming Porsche Roxster .
CXover will first come to the US when it returns, and only a year later to other markets. The SUV should measure around 4.4 meters in length and 1.8 meters in width. The car will feature, for example, 20-inch alloy wheels or rear lights with LED diodes. Under the hood we find a 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine with an output of around 300 horsepower. The CXover will have permanent all-wheel drive, sending 60% of power to the rear axle. Of course, the power ratio may vary according to terrain conditions.
