Alfa Romeo 6C Cuore Sportivo – a design study by two Italian enthusiasts!

The Italian automaker offered the last sports model from 2007 to 2010, when it produced the limited series Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione , which shared the platform and eight-cylinder engine from the Maserati GranTurismo . According to available information, we will soon see a new sports car with the designation 4C Coupé (later Spider), which will be presented in a few days at the Detroit Auto Show.

After that, the automaker will prepare another sports model, this time Spider with a platform from the new generation Mazda MX-5 . The mentioned two "athletes" will, unlike the 8C , be more affordable and mass-produced. We cannot say now if they will become successful in the market, but these days George M. and Florian J ., two enthusiasts of the Italian brand working in motoring, published a virtual design study called 6C Cuore Sportivo .

They added to the images: "Our study was designed in honor of GT cars, that is, it takes features from older models and builds on the Alfa Romeo 8C ." The front part is inspired by the 6C 2500 Sport Touring Berlinetta from the 1930s and the rear by the already mentioned 8C Competizione and 33 Stradale from the 1960s. On the contrary, the door handles were taken from the modern 156″. The study pays tribute to the carmaker's past and at the same time looks to the future, unfortunately we won't see this design on the roads.
