After the fourth day at Sealine CCR, Mirek Zapletal is fifth

After the second stage, the participants of the Sealine Cross Country Rally had already completed 600 kilometers of special stages. Nasser Al Attiah , who was moving on home soil, again won easily. Second again was Yazeed Al-Rajhi and third was Vladimir Vasilyev . Mirek Zapletal finished in ninth place behind Marko Dabrowski thanks to a delay in repairing a flat tire, but he still held seventh position in the overall ranking. " Today was difficult for us. We lost a few minutes due to a flat tire and Maciek is unfortunately sick. Even though he didn't feel well, he didn't give up and navigated as best he could. I hope he feels better tomorrow. I'm very happy that Yuri Sazonov's Kazakh H3 Evo is doing well. We prepared a new car for him for this race, fitted with the same Ford Mustang engine that is in my car. According to the results, it can be seen that Yuri quickly got used to the new car and is already starting to breathe on my back, " said Mirek after reaching the finish line.

Even the third day at the Sealine Cross Country Rally did not bring much change in the first places. Nasser Al Attiyah won again, Vladimir Vasilyev was second and Yazeed Al-Rajhi was third. Mirek Zapletal and Maciek Marton finished in seventh place and are still seventh in the overall classification. Almost from the start of the race, Mirko's clutch was angry, but thanks to careful driving, the crew reached the finish line. The clutch had to be disassembled and cleaned in the service. Unfortunately, the gearbox also had to go out, which was badly damaged by the striking clutch. Fortunately, the wheels in the gearbox were not badly damaged, so they could be used again. The cars of Erik Van Loon and Harry Hunt had less luck today. Both Minis ended their journey at the same place. Although this place was marked with three exclamation points in the road book, the drivers ignored the warning and seriously damaged their cars. The demandingness of this race is evidenced by the fact that only 25 of the original number of 44 cars showed up for today's start.

Bad luck stuck to the heels of many crews starting the fourth stage of the Sealine Cross Country Rally today. Even the Czech team was not spared. Before the first CP, Mirko's H3 Evo got stuck in soft sand. His Mini Nani Roma kept him company. Both were trying to free their cars. Mirko succeeded after twenty minutes and was able to continue the race. Nani Roma damaged his gearbox while trying to get onto the track and arrived at the finish line very late. In the same place, the H3 Evo of the Kazakh rider Yuriy Sazonov also fell. He managed to get out after about ten minutes. In the second half of the race, our crew had to stop due to a flat tire and thus lost a few more minutes. Another loser was Marek Dabrowski , he managed to break the shift lever, so he had to use only one gear to drive to the end. Despite all the problems, our crew finished in seventh place, and overall Mirek and Maciek even improved and are fifth. The winner of the fourth stage was Yazeed Al-Rajhi , ahead of Vladimir Vasilyev and Nasser Al Attiyah . In the last, fifth stage, the driver will have 365 kilometers of special stages and the first car will start at seven o'clock local time.
