A ride in an unusual Ferrari

The 1980s were something of a golden era for motorsport. In Formula 1 , Ayrton Senna was rolling with Alain Prost, and in the rally, all the attention was drawn to the monsters of Group B. Although Ferrari 's more traditional destination is certainly the first category, the popularity of Group B forced Maranello to develop a similar monster.

And so the properly modified Ferrari 288 GTO was born, which could and should have competed with cars like the Porsche 959, Peugeot 205 T16 or Audi Quattro S1. However, due to Henri Toivonen 's tragic accident at the Corsica rally in 1986, these duels never took place.

Today we can commemorate the special 288 GTO , which was produced in a homologation series of 272 units, through a video from a group of enthusiasts who go by the moniker TaxTheRich100 . They took the burial of the famous group not only for a ride on the asphalt, but also to the forest or the village. Watch the rest in the following video – it's worth it!
