Volkswagen Cross Up! was captured in serial form for the first time

In 2011, the Volkswagen Up! car was presented for the first time at the Frankfurt Motor Show. in several body variants. Among them was the "semi-terrain" version of the Cross Up! , which spy photographers managed to capture in a mountain resort almost without camouflage.

It can even be said that the only camouflage was the freshly fallen snow. New Volkswagen Cross Up! will differ from the regular road version in several significant elements. These include a silver front grill strip and a silver rear bumper strip. Further on the car, you can see the enlarged front intake with a honeycomb grille and, just like the VW Cross Touran or Passat Alltrack siblings , the Cross Up! received black strips on the edges of the mudguards and side sill extensions.

Plus, as usual, Cross Up! according to the photos, it also received an increased ground clearance, which, according to the information, is exactly 15 mm greater than that of the regular five-door Up! model. In case someone decides to take this pseudo-off-road Up on a slightly unpaved road, there are silver protective panels under the front and rear bumpers. However, the 4×4 drive in the Cross Up! don't wait

The new Volkswagen Cross Up should be on the market! launched in the first half of 2013, by which time we will certainly have more details about the model.
