The German car manufacturer Audi is diligently developing its sports model with the name S1, and now we finally managed to capture some quality pictures of the car in the Sportback version! The car is expected to be called the Audi S1 Sportback Quattro and will fill the gap that Audi currently has in the car market.
Even if we look at the rear of the car, it is clear that despite the absence of motorization markings on the trunk lid, it will be a strong sports version with the letter S next to the car's name, thanks to the unmistakable pair of exhaust tips.
So far, only one sharp A1 has appeared in the Audi range, but it was in a limited series of 333 units and was not available in all markets. This Audi A1 Quattro had 253 hp, but the captured version of the Audi S1 Quattro will have less. Under the hood of the sporty Audi, a 2.0 TSI engine with a power between 220 and 230 hp will appear and will be connected to a six-speed manual or, on request, a DSG automatic transmission. According to the plans, acceleration from 0-100 km/h should take place in exactly 6 seconds.
The Audi S1 will be presented to the public in early 2013, both in a three-door version and in a captured Sportback version.
