The Reliability Index turned out best for Mitsubishi. German premium cars failed

Mitsubishi Lancer is the most reliable car of the last fifteen years. In this case, the reliability indicator is a combination of the number of defects on the car, the cost of their removal and the difficulty of service work. The average age of the car and the number of kilometers traveled are also calculated. These quantities are reflected in the value of the Reliability Index .

On the occasion of the fifteenth anniversary of its operation, the British company Warranty Direct has published an overview of the most reliable, but also the least reliable cars of this time. It already appears on 450 models in the Warranty Direct statistics. A necessary condition for inclusion in the ranking is that a sufficient number of copies of the car in question have service insurance with this company.

Japanese cars are definitely among the most reliable cars. The Mitsubishi Lancer fared best. According to the statistics of the British company, less than one Lancer has to be serviced in a year. Two-thirds of the Lancers that went into service had suspension or axle problems.

The opposite end of the ranking is very surprising and perfectly undermines the adage of the famous German precision. In addition, these are very luxurious models of premium brands, whose repairs are by no means a cheap matter. And we're not even talking about the hourly service rates of branded services.
