Stuttgart-based Porsche has announced that it will present another compact sports model at the Los Angeles show. She deliberately did not say what specific car it will be, but everyone is waiting impatiently for the new generation of the Cayman model , and it should also be shown in LA.
The new generation will understandably be inspired by the Boxster roadster, also from the point of view of the engine range. The basic Cayman should offer a 2.7 -liter six-cylinder with an output of 265 horsepower and a torque of 280 Nm. The sharper Cayman S will have a 3.4 -liter six-cylinder under the hood with a power of 315 horsepower and a torque of 360 Nm. A six-speed manual and two-clutch PDK gearbox will probably be available in both engines.
The premiere is scheduled for November 28, 2012 , so mark that date in your calendar!
