In the United States of America, we can find the Ford Crown Victoria as a taxi and also the Nissan NV200 , which is supposed to gradually replace the Fords just mentioned. In addition, the Dacia Logan sedan or the Mercedes-Benz E-Class Estate and many other cars take care of transporting passengers in Europe.
A new French representative is also expected to enter the European market, or Germany, among the taxis. This is the Citroen DS5 in the HYbrid4 version, which will be presented in the world premiere at the European taxi exhibition in Cologne (November 9-11, 2012). The French flagship uses the same power unit as in the standard, i.e. 2.0 -liter turbocharged diesel engine and electric motor with a total output of 200 horsepower. Furthermore, the Citroen DS5 will offer a combined consumption of 3.5 l/100 km, CO2 emissions of 91 g/km or all-wheel drive.
Citroen said the DS5 HYbrid4 Special Taxi Edition will go on sale in the first half of 2013.
