Land Rover Defender in a special Blaser Edition

The British car manufacturer Land Rover, i.e. its more luxurious Range Rover models, is extremely popular in our editorial office. And not only here. Land Rovers are also popular with the English nobility and all lovers of hunting and nature due to their origin, off-road capabilities and spacious interior.

It is therefore not surprising that the automaker teamed up with the German arms manufacturer Blaser to create an exclusive edition of the Defender "Blaser Edition", which will be produced in just 60 units, most of which will end up in German forests.

For their 49,500 euros, the hunters there will get extra standard equipment in the form of a large roof rack, a towing device, an electric winch, a snorkel, a rear spotlight and black leather upholstery with green stitching and an embroidered Blaser company logo on the headrests. A good feature is the storage compartment in the luggage compartment, which can hold up to five rifles, smaller weapons and ammunition.

The Defender is powered by a 2.2-liter turbodiesel with a particulate filter that meets the Euro 5 emission standard, with an output of 90 kW (122 hp) and 360 Nm of torque. And where will the modified Defender be seen for the first time? This limited edition will have its world premiere on January 31st at the largest European fair for hunting and fishing in Dortmund.
