Renault Clio Collection – the third Clio is also alive!

I recently wrote that the second generation Clio still lives in Brazil under the name Mercosur . Now I'm probably repeating myself a bit, but the third generation Clio will live too and for a long time. Under the name Collection , Renault decided to offer the car to those who for some reason do not like the new Clio.

In terms of design, nothing changes except for the Collection brands. What is changing, however, is the range of engines and equipment. Both categories were reduced to two items. Under the hood, you can choose between a 1.2 16V gasoline unit and a dCi 75 diesel unit, as well as the Alizé and Business grades.

Alizé will offer ABS, EBD , front and side airbags, electric windows, manual air conditioning, height-adjustable steering wheel and radio with CD player. That's a very fair offer! Especially when you consider the price of 9,990 euros (approx. 250,000 CZK) . However, if you insist on higher equipment, the Business version will additionally offer, for example, fog lights, cruise control, a height-adjustable driver's seat, Carminat TomTom navigation or electric mirrors. However, Renault did not disclose how much more euro banknotes will cost.

Production will take place at the French plant in Flins . Whether the model will reach us is not yet clear.
