However, compared to the original intentions, there is one significant difference with this version – rather than the appearance, it's about the equipment!
In appearance, the car (except for the new design of 17-inch wheels ) is completely identical to its "normal" colleague. Even inside, you won't know that it's something special. Only the center panel, details on the steering wheel or door panels are sprayed in black or silver color (the shade depends on the color of the exterior). The mirror covers and the stripe with the car's name on the side of the body also get the same color.
The main advantage over the classic " beetle " is the offer of richer equipment at a more favorable price. Whoever buys the Remix model will also get air conditioning, a VW multimedia system, a center armrest, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a handbrake and gear lever knob, a Park Pilot system and cruise control. All this for a price starting at 20,250 euros ( approx. 510,000 CZK ).
You then have a choice of three diesel and two petrol turbocharged units. The power range is between 105-160 horses .
