Dodge Dart SRT-4 in development

The new Dodge Dart hasn't even gotten a good look at the world yet, and work is already underway on its sharp SRT variant. The basis will primarily be an aggressive body kit, a sporty chassis, large light alloy wheels, a rear spoiler and, above all, a powerful drive unit.

And it is the choice of the used power unit that causes the biggest speculation. Internal information says that a turbocharged four-cylinder TBi with a displacement of 1.75 liters originating from Alfa Romeo workshops and its more powerful two-liter alternative could appear under the hood. Both power units should be connected to a dual-clutch transmission as standard and should send around 300 horsepower to the wheels.

Let's hope that more detailed information will not be long in coming and we will be able to enjoy the sight of a small, but very attractive sedan with more than decent performance.
