Mitsubishi ASX with LPG

The Japanese car manufacturer Mitsubishi is coming up with something new for all fans of economical operation. From October 2012, the option of conversion to LPG will be added to the offer of all authorized Mitsubishi dealers for the ASX 1.6 l MIVEC model . Compared to the classic gasoline variant, the customer pays an additional 31,900 CZK including VAT, the price includes installation of the LPG kit.

The manufacturer's warranty will remain even after installation. Those are the times when LPG took away valuable kilowatts from the performance and thus worsened the driving dynamics. Even the operation of the Auto Stop and Go system function has been preserved.

The advantage of conversion to LPG is the fact that the car will have an additional tank. According to representatives of M Motors CZ , the range for one refueling will increase by up to 550 kilometers. Those interested can now purchase the run-in gas-powered ASX for a price starting at CZK 421,900.

The manufacturer of the main components of the LPG kit installed in the Mitsubishi ASX is the renowned company Lovato . Special LPG injectors are used for accurate fuel dosing and reduced consumption. The tank is located under the luggage compartment floor, refueling under the original fuel tank cap. The amount of LPG remaining in the tank is shown by the mandatory LEDs on the control button, which also enables switching between the two fuels.

Considering that one liter of LPG is currently much cheaper than the same amount of gasoline, this results in significant savings in operation. The estimated return on investment in conversion to LPG is after driving 30-40 thousand km.
