Subaru presented the concept of a new crossover in Tokyo

The end of the not very successful Subaru Tribeca SUV was announced a few weeks ago, but the Japanese automaker is not giving up its efforts to participate in the SUV segment . In Tokyo, the Crossover 7 concept was shown, which should partially replace the Tribeca.

The shape of the body and its styling remind the Crossover 7 "off-road" station wagon Outback , which, unlike a large SUV, caught on very well and is already sold in its fourth generation. The attractive white color of the bodywork is complemented by the plastic edges of the fenders and the silver-painted plastic in the front bumper.

With a length of 4,780 mm , a width of 1,800 mm and a height of 1,705 mm, the Crossover 7 ranks at the top of the mid-range SUV category, and at the same time it is approaching the category of the largest SUVs by leaps and bounds. The cabin, which Subaru unfortunately did not show in the official materials, has a large space for 7 passengers .

Under the hood appears a 2.5-liter gasoline engine that cooperates with the Lineartronic automatic transmission and, of course, the Symmetrical AWD permanent all-wheel drive.
