Hyundai RM15 – Hellish Veloster

At the Seoul Motor Show , Hyundai presented the RM15 concept based on the Veloster model. The RM15 type is actually a new version of the older Midship concept. Like it, the RM15 has a rally-inspired bodykit , but weighs 200 kilograms less. The engineers achieved this by using aluminum and carbon parts. The weight distribution is exemplary, 43% of the weight falls on the front axle and 57% on the rear.

Hyundai hasn't shown the interior yet, but the video shows that the car has a safety roll bar . The dashboard resembles serial cars, the steering wheel is a bit retro. It is powered by a turbocharged two-liter engine located behind the front seats. The latter is connected to a six-speed sequential gearbox . The output of the unit is 300 horsepower at 6,000 rpm, so this special will reach 100 in 4.7 seconds. The future of the concept is still uncertain, but maybe they will get away with this surprising version before the end of production of the small coupe.
