Fiat will show the retro edition 500 in Geneva

The Fiat Nuova 500 is without a doubt an icon of the Italian automobile industry of the sixties and seventies , when it scored above all with pocketable dimensions and a huge dose of style. These values were transferred by Fiat to the modern reincarnation, the premiere of which took place exactly fifty years after the start of production of the original model in 1957. In order not to forget this date, the limited series Vintage '57 , following on from last year's birthday Edition model, will be on display at the car manufacturer's stand in Geneva 1957 .

You will definitely not miss the special "five hundred" at the stand or on the road, if only because of the blue pastel paint . The white mirror covers, roof, rear spoiler and antenna match it. The original model is also reminiscent of the 16-inch wheels in a combination of chrome and white. The retro touch continues in the interior, where in addition to the white painted dashboard, there are also seats upholstered in Frau leather in a combination of ivory and tobacco shades. The overall atmosphere of the car is completed by retro Fiat logos inside and outside.

Although the whole car is a great retro, the equipment goes with the times and the 500 Vintage '57 has seven airbags , manual air conditioning, audio with CD and MP3, start/stop system, ESP or hill start assistant. The engine range includes, in addition to the 69 hp 1200 petrol engine and the 95 hp Multijet 1300 diesel engine, there are three 0.9 TwinAir turbocharged two-cylinder engines with 65, 85 and 105 hp.
