Suzuki has modernized the kei model Every

Probably like most models of the kei class, the Suzuki Every belongs to the unknown in the Czech Republic and indeed in the whole of Europe, even though it is already in its twelfth generation on the market. It has currently undergone facelite and, in addition to light modifications to the appearance, it brings greater use of high-strength steel.

According to Suzuki, up to 33% of the body is made of high-strength steel , which brings with it not only greater rigidity, but also lower weight. The Japanese were specific about the version with a five-speed manual transmission, which is supposed to be 40 kg lighter than its predecessor . However, the redesigned plastic surfaces in the interior have their role in saving money. The dimensions are still pocket-sized and the van with the simple designation Every or personal Every Wagon measures 3395 mm in length, 1475 mm in width and 1800 to 1910 mm in height depending on the roof. 2430 mm remained between the axles.

Appearance changes include a redesigned bumper for both body variants, a new shape of the main headlights, a vertical positioning of the rear sliding door handle and a third brake light built into the fifth door. Compared to its predecessor, the van then received a wider front mask and new decorative wheel covers, with higher versions of the equipment replaced by 14-inch alloy wheels. More changes were made to the personal version with diode rear lights , a completely new radiator grille, a revised design of the covers, or cast wheels, and a new Garden Aqua metallic finish. When comparing the two variants, not only the different shape of the radiator grille, but also the modified optics of the headlights , the more luxurious front bumper in the personal version and the different shape of the rear headlights stand out.

A privilege of kei class cars is the shift lever head built into the center console. Suzuki Every is no exception. however, next to the classic five-speed or four-speed manual transmission selector, the hook-shaped selector of the five-speed automatic transmission looks somewhat strange. Similar to appearance, you need to distinguish which body type or equipment you are currently driving. In the case of Every Wagon, the rear bench is much better shaped and looks a lot more comfortable. The same can be said for the front seats, but there the "rule" of the selected equipment applies. Otherwise, the press release boasts of the largest space in the class , which is further supported by the number of storage shelves not only in the luggage compartment. A great feature are the side sliding doors , in some versions controlled by electric motors, in the top-of-the-range personal version with retractable steps. Ecological toys will delight the speedometer, the edge of which can change color according to the current driving efficiency.

Under the hood, a three-cylinder gasoline engine with a volume of 0.66 liters appears exclusively in both atmospheric and turbocharged versions. The first mentioned has 49 hp at 5700 rpm and 62 Nm at 3500 Nm, in combination with a five-speed manual or five-speed automatic transmission and the drive of one or both axles is used exclusively in the commercial version. For both the van and the "MPV", there is a turbocharged engine with an output of 64 hp at 6000 rpm with a torque of 95 Nm at 3000 rpm, which works with a four-speed automatic transmission in addition to the manual transmission. Again, the drive of one or both axles applies. From safety features, Every gets autonomous brakes for the first time, working on the basis of radar between 5-30 km/h. The same radar behind the front window also uses a system that prevents premature departure, for example at an intersection.

In the price list of the delivery , you will find the equipment lines GA, PA, PC, Join and Join Turbo with a basic price of 923,400 yen (approx. 188,000 crowns). The personal version is available in the grades JP Turbo, PZ Turbo and PZ Turbo Special, its basic price is 1,425,600 yen (approx. 291,000 crowns).
