The revised Evoque is even more distinctive than before

The segment of premium compact SUVs is growing at an incredible rate every year, and Land Rover can be proud to have a large share of this success. The Range Rover Evoque has sold over 400,000 units since 2011, making it the brand's fastest-selling model of all time. Success is also highlighted by 165 international awards . It is probably not surprising that the facelift, whose premiere will take place in a week in Geneva, focused more on details and lower consumption.

In addition to the three-door coupe, there is also a slightly more practical five-door version on offer, which can also look forward to, in the HSE Dynamic and Autobiography lines, a more prominently shaped hood from the coupe. However, the most visible change is the redesigned bumper with larger air intakes and LED fog lights. As the first Jaguar Land Rover car, the Evoque will be equipped with adaptive full-LED headlights, and the indication of a change of direction of travel is now integrated into the daytime running lights. The radiator grille has a pair of horizontal slats in its standard form, while the higher versions feature a sportier black "string". At the rear, the graphics of the LED diode headlights have been redesigned and a new rear spoiler with a diode third brake light has been installed. For an additional fee, a more attractive roof with an integrated 3G antenna for a better mobile signal is available, as well as contactless opening of the fifth door, when you only need to move your foot under the rear bumper to open or close it. The famous individualization has been preserved, where, in addition to two types of bodywork, you can choose from several designs of alloy wheels, a standard or sporty Dynamic bodykit and a palette of colors with the option of contrasting roof painting.

The almost endless customization continues in the interior, where you can choose up to 13 color combinations , including the new Lunar Ice and Vintage Tan. The seats are new, the front ones are equipped with electric adjustment in 14 directions and a unique massage function in the top version, and there is a TFT display between the alarm clocks. Starting with the basic Pure and SE versions, the InControlTouch multimedia system with an eight-inch touch screen, six-speaker audio and a number of applications familiar to users from smartphones is standard equipment. In the higher HSE, HSE Dynamic and Autobiography lines, an even better version of InControl Touch Plus with navigation, two eight-inch screens and wireless headphones for the rear seats and a high-end Meridian audio system with eleven or seventeen speakers is standard. The basic equipment of the modernized SUV also includes monitoring of driving in the selected lane, autonomous brakes and driver fatigue detection.

The biggest innovation under the hood of the Evoque are two diesel engines of the all aluminum Ingenium series , lighter by 20-30 kg compared to the predecessor and also meeting the Euro 6 emission standard. it can run at 4.2 l/100 km in the case of the front-wheel drive coupe variant. The same variant emits an average of 109 g CO2/km, the five-door model emits 113 g/km and the four-wheel drive 125 g/km. The more powerful diesel engine with the designation TD4 has 180 hp, consumes 4.8 l/100 km and emits 125 g of CO2/km. The 240-horsepower Si4 gasoline unit has been retained , with which the Evoque accelerates to 100 km/h in 7.6 seconds, reaches a top speed of 217 km/h and consumes an average of 7.8 l/100 km. From the larger Range Rover and Range Rover Sport models comes the All-Terrain Progress Control system, which helps to maintain the set speed in the terrain between 1.8 – 30 km/h, thus allowing the driver to fully concentrate on driving the car itself.
