Honda Civic – Facelift on the horizon

The upcoming arrival of the new Honda Civic Type-R will probably overshadow the facelift of the regular models. And that's a bit of a shame, because the regular Civic deserves some of that attention. For example, because the 2015 Civic has all- new shock absorbers and an upgraded range of safety and multimedia technologies. In addition, a sports model will be presented, which will stand between the regular version and the top Type-R . However, you will be able to purchase styling not only for the hatchback, but also for the more practical Tourer .

The facelift also brings updated headlights with LED daytime running lights. The shape of the front and rear bumpers, sill extensions and the black rear spoiler for the hatchback version have been modified. The interior features brand new seats and door panels with chrome handles. The instrument panel is painted in black metallic. But most of all, you will definitely notice the new Honda Connect system with a seven-inch display. In addition to classic FM and AM radios, it should also be able to play Internet stations. Connecting with a phone via Bluetooth will not be a problem either, and satellite navigation and a parking camera must not be missing. The system is fully compatible with Android 4.0.4.

According to Honda , the new Civic will be much more fun to drive. This is true in the press of every other car company, but given the fact that the current Civic is fun, it can be assumed that it will retain this characteristic. Only now it is said that you can more easily maintain control over the car. And there is also the City-Brake Active system , which will help you mitigate the consequences, or even completely avoid an accident at low speed.
