SsangYong has revealed a modernized Rexton

SsangYong Rexton has been on the market for fifteen years, during which it has undergone several major or minor modernizations. The penultimate one brought the letter W to the name, and the last one several modern elements not yet available.

Probably the most visible are the LED daytime running lights in the slightly revised projector headlights. They are joined by a chrome and more luxurious-looking radiator grille with vertical slats, modified rear lights and a new design of 18-inch wheels. The interior finally got a more modern-looking four-spoke steering wheel , a significantly redesigned center panel and an instrument panel with blue backlighting.

New equipment includes heated front seats , cruise control, tire pressure monitoring, audio with Bluetooth connectivity, a rain sensor and LED interior lighting . However, the changes end there – under the hood there are still diesel units with a volume of 2.0 and 2.7 liters, respectively a 3.2-liter gasoline six-cylinder in combination with a manual six-cylinder engine or an optional automatic five-cylinder engine from Mercedes. The assignable all-wheel drive was also retained.
