Samsung introduced the modernized sedan SM5

Renault Latitude wheat does not bloom much in Europe, but its Asian sibling Samsung SM5 , from which the Latitude is technically based and which I also share a production line with, is doing much better. Currently, for example, it has already undergone its second modernization , which also brought with it the epithet Nova .

The main distinguishing sign of the modernization is the radiator grille with three chrome slats and a large logo of the car company, respectively the new front bumper with integrated LED fog lamps . The same technology also provides daytime running lights and a sign about changing the direction of travel in the rear-view mirrors. In the rear, there was only a slight modification of the chrome strips.

The dashboard is made of higher-quality plastics, and in more luxurious specifications it is additionally "enhanced" by wooden decor . The latest generation of the R-Link 2 multimedia system with the option of connecting a smartphone and new functions comes from European Renaults, the basic equipment also includes a smart interior rear-view mirror, an adapter for toll collection and free Internet connection via Wi-Fi.

Under the hood, we can find several power units, the basis of which is a two-liter gasoline engine with an output of 141 hp or its version with an LPG drive with an output of 140 hp in combination with a stepless automatic CVT. One step higher is the 16-liter TCe with 190 horsepower in combination with the EDC dual-clutch automatic. The only diesel engine is a 15-liter dCi with an output of 110 hp, again with a double-clutch EDC automatic.
