The diesel range includes two 16 -litre units with a six-speed manual or an optional seven-speed dual-clutch automatic . The weaker one has 110 hp and 280 Nm (300 Nm with automatic), the stronger one has 136 hp and 280 Nm (300 Nm with automatic).
The new highlight in the i30 range will be the Turbo version with a petrol turbocharged 16 -cylinder engine with a power of 186 hp and a torque of 265 Nm, working exclusively with a six-speed manual. The "hot hatch" shoots to 100 km/h in 8 seconds and reaches a maximum speed of 219 km/h. The chassis has been modified, which should now offer more grip , as well as the steering, which should be slightly more precise for a change. Behind the 18-inch wheels are ventilated discs with a diameter of 300 mm at the front and solid discs with a diameter of 284 mm at the rear. The most powerful version also includes an optical bodykit , including new front and rear bumpers with red details, more pronounced sills, a rear spoiler and a double exhaust tip.
