Volkswagen presents a new version of the Transporter model

The T model range enters the new year with the next version of the Transporter model. Transporter Kombi Doka Plus bridges the gap between a purely utility vehicle and a comfortable passenger car.

The pleasant driving comfort of a passenger car for up to six people in the first and second row, followed by a closed cargo area – this is the most important characteristic of the new model variant of the T series, the Transporter Kombi Doka Plus model. A key element of the equipment of the Doka Plus version is a three-seater bench in the back and a solid dividing wall with a window at the level of the roof pillar C. The interior of the vehicle is thus clearly divided. While the cargo area is only accessible from the rear, up to two sliding doors are reserved for the crew. In addition, the rear side windows of the vehicle are covered with sheet metal panels.

The Kombi Doka Plus transporter is delivered with a short or long wheelbase . Depending on the wheelbase, the maximum cargo volume is 3.5 or 4.4 m 3 . In addition, customers have a choice of two equipment variants and two separate seats or a separate seat in combination with a two-seater bench for the passenger in the first row. The Trendline with its washable rubber floor is a more robust option, while the Comfortline with its durable carpet, high-quality side panels and a large storage box under the three-seater bench creates a more cozy atmosphere in the interior.

Volkswagen offers a complete range of engines for the new model variant, from the TDI unit with an output of 84 hp and front-wheel drive, through gasoline versions and TDI with an output of 180 hp to the TSI with an output of 204 hp, all-wheel drive 4Motion and DSG transmission. Transporter Kombi Doka Plus cars can already be ordered, prices without VAT start from 27,605 euros (approx. 763,000 crowns) for the TDI (84 hp) Trendline version with a short wheelbase.
