The current generation Volkswagen Beetle was introduced only recently, but as befits and belongs to a stylish model, it should also be offered in a retractable roof version. Of course, the manufacturer is well aware of this fact, which is why we can now look at the first spy shots of the Volkswagen Beetle Cabrio.
With a convertible, design is important not only when the roof is down, but above all when the roof is extended. To the delight of all fans of the iconic beetle, it is excellent news that the exterior does not differ significantly from its sibling with a coupe body.
However, there are only photos of cars with the canvas roof extended. So for now, we can only assume whether the roof will retract like in the case of the previous generation of the Beetle Cabrio or it will elegantly hide behind the seats, following the example of current cars.
So for now, all we have to do is wait. The official presentation of the car can be expected at the end of next year.
